i want to buy just the unit itself (48Volt).
I want to buy one now.
I am going to build a large Vertical unit.
Where can i find a newer brushless unit.

120618: System off-line for a while...
You also might try salvaging normal automotive/truck brushed alternators for your first testing... The brushes should last 5-10,000 hours pretty easily (as they are slip-rings and not commutators).
That should be worth several years of operations/experimentations until you get the rest of the system right--before you spend big bucks on a brushless unit.

I have a friend that knows i am on this wind power quest and found a man that sold me a air 403 (i think) Should do 12 24 36 or 48.
So i bought it today for 100.00 with new blades that i needed anyway.
I am going to see if i can repair it.
Greg
I am going to start a new thread on it.
